Cody Mischel

PhD Candidate - UIC

Welcome!
I'm glad you're here! I'm a PhD candidate in the Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Illinois - Chicago, specializing in rheology. I'm a member of the Society of Rheology and my current focus is on improving constitutive equations and fluid models for predicting complex, non-Newtonian fluids.
Before pursuing my PhD, I earned a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University. During my time there, I developed a passion for polymers which led me to work as an R&D product development engineer at Coveris, a high-performance packaging company, for five years.
This website serves as a platform for me to share my academic achievements, research insights, and professional experiences. I invite you to explore my work and learn more about the exciting world of chemical engineering.
Feel free to get in touch with me if you have any questions or if you're interested in collaboration opportunities. Thanks for visiting!
Best regards,

Cody Mischel
